Join the Marin Audubon Society

A Basic Membership is only $25 per year.

The success of the Marin Audubon Society depends greatly on our Local Chapter Members. We work collaboratively with the National Audubon Society on issues of mutual concern, but very little of our funding comes from the National Audubon Society. The Marin Audubon Society relies on local support for our habitat protection efforts, conservancy advocacy, birding field trips, educational Speakers' Series, and publication of our newsletter, the Clapper Rail. Our members' ideas, values and resources help us shape our agenda and carry out our goals and mission. We are confident you will find that membership in the Marin Audubon Society is worthwhile.

The benefits of membership include:

  • Birding field trips for beginning, intermediate and advanced birders, exploring habitats throughout the bay area and beyond, led by experienced guides.
  • The opportunity to support and participate in the acquisition, restoration and enhancement of open space in and around Marin County, which will remain undeveloped habitat and open space in perpetuity.
  • Classes and seminars on bird identification, behavior, habitat and other natural history topics.
  • Monthly speaker series focused on birds and natural resources.
  • A subscription to the Clapper Rail, the Marin Audubon Society's newsletter, which contains articles on notable bird sightings, field trip information, conservation, habitat preservation and restoration, and more.
