Northern Mockingbird
Size: 9-11 inches
The Northern Mockingbird is now a common sight in Bay Area neighborhoods that provide food like berries and insects as well as nesting sights. The mockingbird is known for its ability to mimic sounds of other birds, dogs, trucks, and even musical instruments. It has a lovely song and often sings at night during the nesting season.
