Dark-eyed Junco
Size: 5-6 1/4 inches
This small bird is found in edges of forests, backyards, roadsides, and parks. It eats mostly seeds. White tail feathers show in flight. It's a common bird at feeders, usually getting the seeds that fall to the ground.
