Cedar Waxwing

Size: 6 1/2-8 inches

Found hunting for berries, fruit, and insects in trees and shrubs in many habitats in the Bay Area, this bird darts in and out as it feeds. It has a black "face mask" and a crest that can be raised and lowered.

Sound: A high-pitched "se-e-e-e"
